Bios:

Juliana

Juliana joined the Ralph Baker's Shoes team in May of 2022 as one of our professional salesperson's fitting people in comfort and overseeing the front desk as cashier. She enjoys most "getting to know each and every customer and being able to help find exactly the right shoe for them!" She continues, "I also love the environment and people I work with, I've been able to make such great friendhsips working here." Juliana's favorite footwear is "DEFINITELY" the athletic styles we feature. Her personal favorite is the Brooks Glycerin GTS for their guiderail support system and their cushion. She goes on to say that they're ideal for her pronation and great for all day wear. Juliana loves spending time with friends and family when she isn't solving problems for customers here at our store. When outside of work she usually wears her "cutest and most comfortable shoes" such as the Birkenstock Bend Lows and Arizonas as well as the New Balance 574.

McKayla

McKayla joined our sales team of professional fitters in June of 2021. She is one of our professional salesperson's that also assists with V.A. paperwork and phone calls. Two of her favorite things about working here is how close all of the team members are. She says, "It feels like working with a family!" McKayla also enjoys assisting our customers with all of their footwear needs. When asked what McKayla's favorite style of footwear is she had this to say, "Every shoe we have in the store is very comfortable and supportive but my favorite shoes are the Athletic shoes." She goes on to say that her favorite athletic shoe we carry is the New Balance 1080 v13 for it's cushion and comfortable feel when walking or running. When McKayla is not fitting our customers in comfort she enjoys hiking with her boyfriend Anthony in their Keen boots. She says, "They are great for foot and ankle support on more aggressive hikes but also very comfortable, great arch and a firm cushion!"

Marissa

Marissa has been a member of our team here at Ralph Baker's Shoes since 2012, serving our customers in a number of ways. She is not only one of our sales professionals but she also oversees V.A. appointments and scheduled fittings for custom orthotics. Marissa has been a board certified Pedorthist since 2021 assisting patients with all of their orthotic/footwear needs. When asked what she enjoys most about being a part of our team Marissa states, "Working with family and coworkers while helping the community find great footwear with more personal service." Her favorite style of footwear is athletic stating that her personal favorite shoe is the Brooks Glycerin 21. Marissa explains, "This shoe fits my foot perfect and is genuinely a great shoe for any activity." She continues, "I use them to run in, walk in and work in" adding that they are the most versatile shoe she owns. Marissa's favorite thing to do outside of work is "being active in nature." She loves to hike and explore new places with her husband Grant. When Marissa is hiking Oboz and Keen are her go-to choices explaining, "Oboz are great for light hiking and Keen does best for those more strenuous, rocky trails."

LouAnne

LouAnne has been with Ralph Baker's Shoes as a part of our sales team accommodating our customers with all of their footwear needs since May of 2017. She also assists with cashier at the front desk on our sales floor. When asked what she enjoys most about being a part of our team here at Ralph Baker's Shoes LouAnne had this to say, "We are like a big, happy family." She goes on to say, "We are all here to accomplish the same goal, to make people happy and comfortable on their feet!" LouAnne says that her favorite footwear brand that we carry is Birkenstock. Specifically, the Mayari are her favorite during the summer stating, "the support is great and they're cute!" When LouAnne isn't fitting people in comfort the activities she enjoys most are kayaking (when it's warm) and walking, explaining that her "Keen UNEEKs are perfect for the mud and water on the river!" When out walking she loves to wear her Brooks Glycerin. LouAnne goes on to say, "I also enjoy traveling." Continuing, "I always take my Aetrex wedges for dress up days but I mostly wear my OluKai's and Birkenstocks while traveling."
